Key Responsibilities

• Implement and manage QA / QC processes for inspection and rework activities.
• Ensure full compliance with IATF, ISO, control plans, and customer requirements.
• Review, update, and approve work instructions and procedures.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of inspectors and auditors.
• Conduct training on quality standards, visual inspection, and measurement tools.
• Build a culture of accountability, precision, and continuous improvement.
• Act as the go-to person for all customer and supplier quality queries.
• Manage complaints, conduct thorough root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions (8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa).
• Represent the company in customer reviews and quality meetings.
• Maintain accurate quality records, audit results, training logs, and reports.
• Present quality metrics (e.g., PPM, scrap trends, cost of quality) to leadership.
• Lead internal audits and support external assessments.
• Analyze defect trends and drive improvement projects.
• Implement poka-yoke and optimize inspection processes.
• Support lean and Six Sigma initiatives where required.

Requirements

• BTech or BSc in Quality, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in automotive quality roles, preferably in inspection or rework environments.
• Strong knowledge of IATF, ISO, FMEA, Control Plans, PPAP, SPC, and MSA.
• Proficient with tools like calipers, micrometers, gauges.
• Ability to read technical drawings and perform detailed root cause analysis.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication – verbal and written.
• Ability to thrive in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
• Customer-centric with strong attention to detail.

Working Environment

On-site presence across both office and shop floor.

Some travel to client or supplier sites may be required.
