Intercon Recruitment is seeking a qualified Wheel Alignment Technician for a Ballito-based dealership in KwaZulu-Natal. The role focuses on wheel alignment, tyre fitting, and balancing with emphasis on precision and customer service.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of relevant experience, valid driver's license, and a commitment to professional standards. Training and development opportunities are provided to expand technical skills within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Qualified Wheel Alignment Technician or relevant automotive experience.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in wheel alignment, tyre fitting and balancing.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform wheel alignments, tyre fitments, and wheel balancing to manufacturer specifications.
• Diagnose and resolve wheel alignment and suspension-related issues.
• Operate wheel alignment, tyre fitting, and balancing equipment safely and accurately.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports on vehicle inspections and repairs.
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding technical findings and recommendations.
• Maintain workshop equipment and ensure a clean and safe working environment.
• Assist With Additional Workshop Services, Including air-conditioning re-gassing, brake disc skimming, Jet Clean machine operation.
• Attend manufacturer and company training to further develop technical skills.
