• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on motorcycles.
• Conduct full pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) and ensure units meet safety standards.
• Identify faults and perform repairs according to guidelines.

Job description

Responsibilities :

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on motorcycles
• Conduct full pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) and ensure all units meet safety and performance standards
• Identify mechanical and electrical faults and perform repairs in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
• Complete job cards accurately and maintain a high level of workshop housekeeping
• Liaise with the Service Advisor and Workshop Foreman regarding job progress and additional repair requirements
• Ensure all work is completed efficiently and within allocated timeframes
• Test ride motorcycles (where applicable) to verify repairs and ensure performance standards are met
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of motorcycle technology, repair methods, and manufacturer bulletins
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental standards in the workplace

Requirements :

• Qualified Motorcycle Technician (Trade Test Certificate essential)
• Minimum 3 years experience working on motorcycles in a dealership environment
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic skills
• Experience with major motorcycle brands advantageous
• Valid South African Motorcycle License (Code A)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High level of integrity, reliability, and professionalism
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
• Motor Industry experience Essential!!
