Salary

±R35,000 per month negotiable for the right candidate

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the supervision of theDebtors & Creditors function
• Management of the Deal Discounting Position
• Daily cashbooks for all companies
• General Administration & bookkeeping
• Cashflow Management
• Monthly processing of standard journal entries
• Analyse and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Maintain / update the Fixed Asset Register to track deprecation entries
• Maintain / update the Vehicle Amortization schedules
• Oversee / process the Petty cash entries in the GL
• Prepare and distribute Monthly Management Accounts / Packs
• Maintain / update the insurance policy
• Assist with Statutory returns, eg preparation of VAT
• Resolution of queries

Educational Requirements

Qualified Accountant

Knowledge

• Good knowledge of accounting processes and principles
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and a fair knowledge of Microsoft Word
• Good knowledge of accounting packages, Pastel will be a preferred option
• Basic knowledge of deal management packages
