Job description
Job Function

To ensure that processes needed for the Quality Management System (QMS) are established, implemented and maintained. Perform the Internal, Supplier, Client and Regulatory Audits for the Imperial Health Sciences Division. Co-ordination of the Risk Management Review. Ensure Quality Assurance Administration and QMS Document Management System is in compliance.

Key Performance Areas
  • Determine training needs to ensure quality improvement.
  • Communication (Internal and External Customers/Vendors).
  • Initiate, Implement and review SOPs if required, to reflect current business practices.
  • Discuss Quality (MS) matters with personnel, Responsible Pharmacists and Branch Managers (or equivalent) and make recommendations.
  • Induct new clients into QMS via project management, with respect to pharmaceutical compliance.
  • Conduct quarterly Quality Review meetings.
  • Promotion of the quality culture in the organization through quality awareness training.
  • Conduct quarterly Risk meetings.
  • Prepare Client QA Metrics reports
  • Manage the Internal Audit System, according to required standards. (SAHPRA/GWP/ISO9001/ISO13485) and client requirements.
  • Manage the Client audit process.
  • Manage Regulatory Body Audits.
  • Responsible for the validation process in all Branches to ensure compliance of equipment, product and consistency of data collection and forecasting.
Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor's or equivalent tertiary education.
  • ISO Auditor certification (ISO 9001, 13485, 14001 and 45001).
Experience and Skills Required
  • Up to 3 Years in a similar environment with related knowledge and / or skill.
  • Working knowledge of the Pharmacy and Medicines and Related Substances Control Acts.
  • Knowledge of Good Wholesale/Distribution Practices in South African.
