Job summary

Europlan Group seeks a experienced QA/QC Manager to oversee the project quality management system for a large-scale water infrastructure development on Santiago Island, Cape Verde. You will ensure civil, structural, and electromechanical works meet contract specifications, FIDIC requirements, and international standards.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will lead QA/QC activities, coordinate inspections with the Engineer/Consultant, manage NCRs and CAPA, and compile quality dossiers for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Civil/Mechanical Engineering, Quality Management, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 7 years' experience in QA/QC management, preferably on overseas EPC projects.
• Proven experience managing quality requirements under FIDIC contract conditions.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification or equivalent internationally recognised quality management qualification.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain PQP and ITPs per FIDIC requirements and international standards.
• Manage QA/QC activities across civil, structural, and electromechanical works.
• Oversee material testing and coordinate laboratory services.
• Act as focal point for Engineer/Consultant on quality matters.
• Prepare and submit RFIs, MIRs, and other quality documentation.
• Identify, record, and manage NCRs with timely resolutions.
• Develop CAPA to address non-conformances while minimising delay.
• Conduct quality audits and evaluate subcontractors and suppliers.
