A leading established pharmaceutical company in Cape Town (City Bowl area) has an opportunity for an experienced QA and / or RA Scientist or Specialist to join their technical team to assist with Quality Assurance, the Quality Management System, and Regulatory Affairs support. Must have : Experience working at a pharmaceutical company, specifically in both QA and RA

Duties & Responsibilities

Job Function: Support and assistance with the Technical, Regulatory and Quality Assurance aspects of the company. Responsible for final product release preparation, QA aspects, RA aspects, and to assist the Technical Manager in performing daily duties with regard to the Quality Management System.

Key result areas:

• Complaints / Vigilance
• Quality Management System
• Regulatory: support and assist the RA pharmacists with dossier compilation, variations, updates, amendments, etc.
• Cross functional support

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in pharmaceutical sciences or related science discipline (e.g., microbiology, chemistry) or equivalent
• Pharmaceutical industry experience (QA and / or RA)
• Quad Pharma (or equivalent) medicines registration course would be advantageous
• Knowledge and experience in ISO systems accreditation and management would be advantageous
• Good references

Package & Remuneration

Commensurate with experience and knowledge of the candidate this position can be either for a more junior person (preferable) or for a senior scientist position.

• Junior level: R20 – R25k per month cost to company with annual performance bonus
• Senior level: R30 – R50k per month cost to company with annual performance bonus
