Job summary

Communicate Finance is seeking a Python backend developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable Python applications in a fast-paced setting. You will build RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services while focusing on performance, reliability, and security.

Collaborating with Product, QA, and DevOps teams, you will troubleshoot issues and contribute to architectural decisions and ongoing improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• Minimum 2+ years in Python development (Junior to Senior opportunities).
• Strong understanding of software development best practices and OOP.
• Experience building and maintaining APIs and backend services.
• Knowledge of frameworks such as Django, Flask, FastAPI, or similar.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is advantageous.
• Familiarity with SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server).
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, testing methodologies, and Agile development practices.
