Job Description
Minimum 5-10 years of experience in construction project management, preferably in renewable energy or a related field.
Mission
- To successfully deliver PV plant construction projects that meet customer needs, contribute to renewable energy goals, and drive sustainable development.
Key tasks
- Oversee the construction of the PV plant, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
- Manage and coordinate the activities of contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- Conduct site inspections and monitor progress, quality, and safety.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, including project developers, EPC contractors, and local authorities.
- Manage and resolve technical issues and construction delays.
- Ensure that the PV plant is constructed to meet performance and quality standards.
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure successful project delivery.
- Manage and control project costs, schedules, and resources.
- Ensure effective communication and stakeholder management.
Technical
- Knowledge of PV plant design and construction.
- Experience with project management software and tools.
- Understanding of electrical and civil engineering principles.
- Familiarity with safety and quality management systems.
- Knowledge of Zambian regulations and standards.
