POSITION INFO : Basic Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Taking charge of full scope of Project Purchasing – placing and expediting of orders, daily liaison with suppliers, and regular feedback on project status.
  • Negotiating better pricing and payment terms and credit returns with suppliers
  • Ensuring that Project Purchasing is in line with Cash flow Forecasting set for project.
  • Managing supplier relationships.
  • Assisting with various other functions within the department.
  • Liaise with all relevant departments regarding timing of orders and expediting orders where needed.
  • Track orders and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Sourcing materials, goods, products and services where needed
  • Work in a stressful environment when project timing is tight
