Finance Assistant: Credit Control / Processing Administrator – Permanent Position, Cape Town

Responsible for credit control and ensuring timely receipt of balances due:

  • Responsible for the credit control function, including completing payment reconciliations and investigating any reconciling differences
  • Building relationships with customers to keep on top of any due/overdue payments
  • Managing brand recharges and stock-only invoices, including working with the relevant teams to raise invoices in a timely manner and track them appropriately
  • Weekly and monthly aged debt reporting and investigation to present to the Financial Accountant
  • Reviewing and reconciling creditor accounts
  • Ad hoc duties as required by the Financial Accountant or Financial Controller
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience
  • Strong skills across the Microsoft Office suite
  • High standard of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experienced in working well as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
