Job Description

The Machine Shop Foreman will oversee the efficient and safe operation of all shopfitting machinery within the wood production environment.

This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with Health and Safety regulations, monitoring machine usage, and managing all machine maintenance requirement. Working closely with the Cabinet Production Manager.

You will be required to: Enforce Health and Safety standards and ensure full compliance on the workshop floor. Supervise and monitor the use of all shopfitting machines to prevent abuse or misuse. Oversee and manage all machine maintenance schedules, including repairs and services. Arrange and coordinate external technicians for call-outs, servicing, and repairs. Work closely with the Cabinet Production Manager to ensure smooth machine‑related operations. Maintain accurate records of machine usage, servicing, and maintenance activities. Support overall production objectives by ensuring machine readiness and uptime.

Qualifications3>

58 years relevant experience in a shopfitting or wood‑production machine environment. CNC experiences essential. Proficient in English. Must have hands‑on experience with shopfitting machinery.
