About the Role

This pivotal role involves managing the company's relationships with government bodies, policymakers, and community stakeholders, advocating for the company's interests and shaping public policy discussions. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the regulatory and political landscape, exceptional negotiation and communication skills, and a proven ability to develop and implement effective public affairs strategies. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic public affairs plans to support company objectives.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments affecting the organisation and industry.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Public Policy, Law, Political Science, Communications, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in public affairs, government relations, corporate communications, or a related field.
• In-depth knowledge of the South African political and regulatory environment.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing successful advocacy and public affairs strategies.
