Job Description

• Conduct psychological assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide individual therapy sessions (CBT, DBT, trauma-focused therapy, etc.)
• Facilitate group therapy and psychoeducational sessions
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, counsellors, and medical staff on integrated care
• Monitor patient progress and adjust interventions accordingly
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and case notes
• Participate in family therapy and support programs when required
• Contribute to relapse prevention strategies and aftercare planning

Minimum Requirements

• Master's or Doctorate in Clinical or Counselling Psychology
• Registration with HPCSA (Health Professions Council of South Africa)
• Minimum 2–5 years' experience in rehabilitation centres, psychiatric hospitals, or community mental health settings
• Experience with international clients is advantageous
