Psychiatrist, Montana State Hospital (Warm Springs)

The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity for a Psychiatrist within the Montana State Hospital.

The Montana State Hospital (MSH) in Warm Springs provides inpatient psychiatric treatment for adults with serious mental illness.

MSH is the only public psychiatric hospital in Montana that serves people admitted from communities across the state.

Job Overview

The role collaborates with leaders from multiple disciplines to enhance staff knowledge, skills, and abilities critical for high performance. This position provides diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric inpatients through supervision of multidisciplinary treatment teams, direct service psychotherapy‑chemotherapy, and preparation of psychiatric‑legal evaluations and reports.
