Job summary

Mediclinic is looking for a Care Worker to support nursing unit staff in delivering safe and quality patient care that meets patients' healthcare needs. You will work as part of a team, assist with daily patient care activities, and contribute to a positive patient experience by supporting front-line staff.

You will also handle stock control, maintenance of accurate records, and administrative tasks, while applying infection prevention measures and reporting risks in line with hospital policies.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support nursing unit staff in delivering quality patient care within a team approach
• Identify and report risks in line with hospital policies
• Contribute to a positive patient experience by assisting nursing unit staff
• Provide administrative support to the nursing unit staff as specified
• Contribute to a learning environment that builds staff competence by participating in continuous personal development
• Ensure that required stock is utilised efficiently and accurately charged
