The role involves executing financial functions including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Candidates should have a BCom degree in accounting, completed Articles at an Audit Firm, and strong IFRS knowledge. Experience in property accounting is advantageous. Qualifications

• Proven experience in management accounting (budgeting, forecasting, monthly accounts).
• Experience in property and investment accounting is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Compile complete budgets in consultation with various departments.
• Process journal entries and compile monthly management packs.
• Draft and review financial statements for year-end and audit preparation.
• Respond to SARS queries and prepare monthly VAT returns.

Skills

Strong understanding of IFRS and IFRS for SMMEs

Budgeting

Forecasting

Advanced Excel

Basic knowledge of MDA

Education

BCom Financial degree with a major in accounting
