Job description

We are seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations and financial performance of our retail shopping centres. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, financial acumen, and a commitment to delivering exceptional tenant and customer experiences while ensuring the long-term success of the properties. Manage daily operations of assigned retail centres, ensuring properties are clean, safe, and well-maintained.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and evaluate vendor services, including maintenance, landscaping, security, and janitorial.
  • Build and maintain strong tenant relationships, serving as the primary point of contact to resolve issues and support long-term retention.
  • Prepare and manage annual operating budgets, track expenses, and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Monitor rent collections, approve invoices, and support the achievement of revenue and NOI goals.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with lease obligations and company standards.
  • Partner with the leasing team to coordinate tenant build-outs, move-ins, and move-outs.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, insurance requirements, and safety standards.
  • Develop and implement capital improvement and preventative maintenance plans.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Property Management, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of retail property management experience, ideally with retail centres.
  • Strong knowledge of lease administration, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • Excellent communication, relationship management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with property management software (e.g., Yardi, MRI, VTS, or similar).
  • Professional certifications (CPM, RPA, or similar) a plus.
