A growing real estate organisation in Johannesburg is seeking a Property Administrator to oversee a building for 3 months with the potential for a permanent position. Responsibilities include lease management, financial reporting, and collaboration with site teams. Candidates must have a matric certificate, at least 3 years of property administration experience, and strong financial acumen.
Based in the heart of Johannesburg, our client is a growing real estate organisation with a focus on property development and asset management in the student accommodation sector. Over the past 14 years, they have achieved level 1 BEE status and have a substantial pipeline of current and future projects.
The company is seeking a Property Administrator to temporarily fill in for an employee. The role involves overseeing a building with 250 beds for a contract period of 3 months, with the potential for a permanent position managing a new building set to open in July. The possibility of a permanent role will be based on your performance during the temporary assignment.
Responsibilities such as lease renewals, new leases and administration thereof will fall on to you. Other accountabilities include but are not limited to collections, prebilling, compiling budgets, SLA’s and management of service providers, reporting on vacancies, working alongside site-based team members as well as any administrative adhoc tasks.
The successful incumbent will need to have 2-3 years of experience using MDA, a minimum of 3 years of Property Administration experience and a matric certificate. You will need to have at least 2 years of experience working in the student accommodation industry, strong financial acumen and an excellent work ethic.
