Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the Solar PV industry in Southern Africa, including competitors, potential partners, key stakeholders, and regulatory developments.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify optimal project solutions.

Project Management Responsibilities :

Planning and Coordination

  • Develop detailed project plans outlining scope, objectives, deliverables, and schedules.
  • Work with stakeholders to define project requirements.
  • Create comprehensive timelines and allocate resources effectively.
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Execution and Monitoring

  • Supervise project activities to ensure timeline adherence.
  • Coordinate between internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Track progress, monitor milestones, and provide stakeholder updates.
  • Implement proven project management methodologies.

Budget Management

  • Prepare project budgets with cost estimates and procurement plans.
  • Monitor expenses and maintain cost control within approved budgets.
  • Review and approve financial documentation.

Quality and Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Implement quality control measures and conduct necessary inspections.
  • Maintain adherence to industry standards, codes, and safety regulations.

Leadership and Communication

  • Lead project teams effectively to achieve objectives.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment.
  • Delegate tasks and provide guidance to team members.
  • Conduct performance reviews and offer constructive feedback.
