Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager (Solar) to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of commercial and utility-scale solar PV projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of solar systems, excellent leadership skills, and proven experience managing projects from initiation to completion.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project management for solar PV installations, from design to commissioning.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction teams, and external stakeholders.
• Oversee site assessments, feasibility studies, and risk analysis.
• Ensure all project documentation, reporting, and compliance requirements are met.
• Conduct regular site visits and monitor progress and quality of work.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and develop corrective action plans.
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide regular updates on milestones.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Renewable Energy, or related field.
• 3–7 years’ project management experience, preferably in solar PV.
• Strong understanding of solar PV design, installation processes, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent organisational, planning, and leadership abilities.
• Proficiency with project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to project sites.

Preferred Skills

• PMP/Prince2 certification
• Experience in utility-scale or large commercial solar projects
• Knowledge of EPC contracting and procurement processes
