Role

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager with a solid track record in the financial services sector. This role requires a confident, detail-oriented individual with strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving key projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory standards.

Minimum Requirements
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience as a Project Manager
  • Proven experience delivering complex projects within financial services
  • SCRUM Certification – mandatory
  • Formal Project Management Certification – PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent (Mandatory)
  • Excellent knowledge of project lifecycle, methodologies and tools
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Based in or willing to travel to Sandton
Key Responsibilities
  • End to end project management across the full project life cycle
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure project timelines are met
  • Identify project risks, issues and mitigation strategies
  • Facilitate daily SCRUM meeting and sprint planning
  • Prepare and present project status reports to key stakeholders
  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers etc
  • Ensure compliance with internal governance and regulatory requirements
Additional Information
  • This role is based on site in Sandton
  • Hourly rate will be negotiated based on experience and qualifications
  • This is a contract position with potential for extension based on performance and project needs.
