Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Rustenburg

Job Type: 6 month contract, expected to work Full-Time hours

Job Duties

The Project Management function will include planning, control, and reporting within the following areas:

  • Scope Control
  • Schedule Control
  • Quality Control
  • Integrated Change Control
  • Risk Control
Integrated Monthly Reports

Weekly and Monthly Progress Reports including:

  • Project forecasted completion versus Actual Completion.
  • Baseline % vs Physical % progress achieved.
  • Tasks items delayed.
  • Tasks to start in the next reporting period (Project look ahead).
  • Schedule Performance Index (SPI).
  • Impending schedule slippages from the critical path.
Project Controls General Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Establish the Project Controls.
  • Ensure the development of project control systems.
  • Manage the Project Controls function and assure adherence to:
  • Integrated Change Management:
  • Registering of changes in Project scope.
  • Registering of changes in the Project schedule because of changes made during the lifecycle of the project.
  • Communication Management.
  • Quality Assurance and Quality Control:
  • Track the quality of deliverables from project streams within the Turn Around Strategy.
  • Risk management.
  • Business improvement initiatives cost and production improvements tracking.
Project Registers
  • Incidents Register.
  • Risk Register.
  • Change Register.
  • Decision Register.
  • QA Sign off register.
  • Project Assumptions register.
Required Qualifications
  • Relevant Degree or Diploma
