A leading financial institution in Stellenbosch is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their Delivery Enablement team. The ideal candidate will have 4-10 years of project management experience in fast-paced environments. This position requires strong skills in JIRA, Microsoft Office Suite, and proficiency in SDLC methodologies, including Agile and Scrum. The role involves leading multiple projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver results that align with organizational goals.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in fast-paced, high-volume environments.

About The Role

Join our dynamic Delivery Enablement team, where you’ll manage multiple strategic projects across the organization. We’re seeking experienced Project Managers who thrive in fast-paced environments and can deliver results across diverse business areas.

Our Ideal Candidate
  • Proven 4 -10 years’ experience as a Project Manager, managing several large-scale projects at once.
  • Strong JIRA experience.
  • Confluence experience is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Demonstrated ability to present to senior management and executive stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to have challenging conversations.
  • Experience in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
  • Working within an Agile environment.
  • Experience of SDLC methodologies, Agile, Scrum and Waterfall.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and deliver multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and present to senior stakeholders, including divisional executives.
  • Utilize JIRA (mandatory) and Microsoft Suite for project tracking, reporting, and presentations.
  • Apply business acumen to understand project context, challenge assumptions, and drive outcomes.
  • Prepare and present project updates to steering committees and executive leadership.

  • A grade 12 certification
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in project management
