The Opportunity

The Project Manager will be responsible for general technical oversight and will provide leadership and management oversight in the implementation of the Early Childhood Development (ECD) Realizing Full Potential project.

The project aims to secure a strong foundation for young children in five districts (Chifunabuli, Kawambwa, Mwansabombwe, Nchelenge and Chiengi).

The Project Manager will lead the planning, implementation and monitoring of project activities that support parents, caregivers, community-based organisations, state institutions and other actors, ensuring that— from before birth—young girls and boys receive the care, support and services needed to survive, grow healthy and develop to their full potential, free from gendered norms and discriminatory attitudes.

What You Will Bring To the Role
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Social Development, International Relations, Program Management, or a related field; Master\'s as an added advantage.
  • Proven work experience in programme management, youth engagement, social change, or related areas.
  • Experience in working with local communities and networking with local implementing partners and private sectors.
  • Understanding of the various donor rules and guidelines.
