A recruiting agency is looking for an experienced project leader to manage U.S.-based solar projects from South Africa. This remote role involves leading project delivery, managing budgets, and collaborating with international teams. Ideal candidates should have at least 4 years in solar project management, proficiency in project management tools, and effective communication skills in English. Competitive salary and flexible work arrangements are offered.
Deliver solar power across the U.S. - from South Africa.
You’re a self-driven, detail-obsessed project leader who thrives in a fast-paced, remote environment. You communicate clearly, build trust easily and take ownership from start to finish. Tech-savvy and solutions-focused, you enjoy juggling priorities and collaborating across borders. You’re eager to take on U.S.-based projects while working from home in South Africa.
You’ll lead the end-to-end delivery of commercial and utility-scale solar projects across the U.S. This includes managing timelines using MS Project and Primavera P6, tracking progress in Procore, and working closely with U.S.-based teams to ensure schedules, budgets and quality standards are met. From subcontractor coordination to change control, budget forecasting and reporting, you’ll be the central figure in keeping projects on track and aligned with U.S. delivery standards.
Our client is a leading U.S. renewable energy company delivering commercial solar projects nationwide. With a remote-first culture and a collaborative approach, they value initiative, quality, and long-term impact. You’ll be joining a passionate team that’s driving the future of clean energy - one solar farm at a time.
You’ll bring at least 4 years’ experience managing commercial solar or renewable energy projects, ideally including large-scale solar farms. You’re proficient in Procore, MS Project and Primavera P6, with a strong grasp of budget control and cost forecasting. You’re also comfortable working U.S. hours from South Africa, communicating effectively in English with international teams.
A flexible remote role with a competitive salary, exposure to cutting-edge solar infrastructure, and the chance to work on impactful U.S. based projects all from the comfort of your home.
