My client based in Johannesburg is currently looking for a Project Manager to join their team on a contract basis.

IT / FINANCE

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Supply Chain, or Pharmaceutical Management, or a related field

Formal Project Management Certification such as PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, or Agile certification

3-5 years of experience managing IT or business projects, ideally in Supply Chain, Retail, or Pharmaceutical industries

Proven experience delivering SAP or ERP implementations (SAP ECC, S / 4HANA, MM, SD, WM modules)

Experience working within structured PMO / governance environments

Skilled in vendor and third-party management

Exposure to both Waterfall and Agile project delivery methodologies

Skills and Knowledge

Strong project planning, scheduling, and stakeholder management skills

Proficiency in tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Teams, and SharePoint

Understanding of business processes across IT, Supply Chain, and Pharmaceutical operations

Strong financial management ability (budget tracking, cost control, and variance reporting)

Excellent communication, presentation, and report writing skills

Analytical mindset with sound problem-solving and risk management skills

Working knowledge of SAP environments and system integration points
