Overview

We are seeking a motivated Project Manager for the contract of 12 months. The role will strategically lead and integrate the multi‑faceted "Project Crane," establishing a PMO to navigate significant technical, regulatory, and stakeholder complexity.

The primary purpose is to drive coherence and execution across all work streams—Technical, Finance, Legal, Security, and Operations.

What you will need
  • Matric (Grade 12) and undergraduate qualifications in either area of the Built Environment including Civil and/or Structural Engineering; Quantity Surveying and Construction Project Management.
  • Proven experience (3-5 years) managing projects involving complex systems integration, preferably within the rail, logistics, or heavy machinery sectors.
  • Professional Registration with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) or the South African Council for the Quantity Surveying Profession (SACQSP) or the South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP) will be an added advantage.
  • Demonstrable experience navigating highly ambiguous environments and defining project scope and structure from the ground up.
  • Regulatory experience or interface with heavy regulatory or legislative frameworks is highly advantageous.
