Role Purpose

The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing cross‑functional projects that drive business growth, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This role balances people leadership, strategic project management and a technical understanding to ensure delivery of outcomes aligned with 1-grid’s strategic goals.

  • Internal: CEO, Management Team, Technical Leads, Product Development, CX, Operations
  • External: Key suppliers, consultants, and technology partners
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
  • Lead the full project lifecycle from initiation and planning through execution, delivery, and closure.
  • Develop project scopes, timelines, budgets, and resource plans aligned with company priorities.
  • Coordinate cross‑departmental collaboration to ensure alignment of goals, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Manage project risks, dependencies, and change requests proactively.
  • Provide regular progress updates to stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget while maintaining quality standards.
  • Apply Agile and hybrid methodologies to optimise project delivery efficiency.
  • Oversee post‑project reviews to capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement.
Technical Oversight
  • Work with the technical team to define technical requirements, integrations, and system improvements.
  • Support the adoption and implementation of new technologies, tools, and platforms.
  • Ensure that technical deliverables align with business objectives and project goals.
  • Collaborate with business partners, suppliers and development teams to ensure scalability.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices to inform project direction.
People & Process Management
  • Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team, fostering collaboration and accountability.
  • Promote a culture of transparency, inclusivity, and continuous improvement.
  • Identify and implement process enhancements that improve efficiency across departments.
  • Support team performance management, training, and professional development.
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers and partners to ensure optimal service delivery.

  • Prior experience in a web hosting, IT, or digital services company advantageous.
