Job description
Overview

Location – Manchester

Interested in working on career defining projects that will help shape the future of Greater Manchester for future generations?

We’re seeking a Project Landscape Architect or a Landscape Architect looking to progress to the next level to join our team in Altrincham, Greater Manchester, one of our five studios in the UK.

We have developed within Greater Manchester, and the Altrincham studio is the practice’s headquarters. Whether working with the communities of East Manchester to create a district of global significance, or striving to repair our beloved hometown of Altrincham, we are part of the city and its growing creative community.

We’ve designed new city centre squares, public realm and connecting streetscapes at First Street North and within the Co-operative’s historic estate at Sadler’s Yard, NOMA. We are redesigning Albert Square, the city’s primary public space in the Town Hall’s foreground, and were co-masterplanners and Landscape Architects for Circle Square, the new mixed-use redevelopment of the former BBC site at the heart of the City’s Corridor initiative. Our work extends widely throughout the surrounding region, from urban to rural environs, developing opportunities for community benefit and reconnection to nature including Northern Roots, the UK’s largest urban farm and eco-park project in Greater Manchester. Find out more about our Manchester projects here.

You’ll be working on career defining projects that will help shape the future of the city and wider region for future generations and will be actively engaged in delivering exceptional public realm schemes. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to our friendly and collaborative studio culture and mentor less experienced colleagues. Discover more about our studios including Manchester here.
