Our Client

Our client is a global (EPC) company specializing in hydropower and renewable energy ventures worldwide.

Project Overview

Their portfolio includes over 3GW in installed solar photovoltaic (PV) capacity. The current undertaking is a MW solar PV project scheduled to commence in May, situated in the Free State region. This is a two‑year fixed term contract.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Review the relevant settlement materials of the project to ensure that the settlement materials meet the national fiscal and taxation requirements of South Africa.
• Collect financial information related to the project and register the ledger.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of various financial data.
• Prepare daily bank accounts to ensure the safety of project funds.
• Check the financial data with the firm, calculate the project tax burden, and urge the firm to declare all taxes on time.
• Cooperate with human resources and the firm to complete the salary calculation of project personnel and review the calculation and declaration of individual tax and employee insurance.
• Put forward reasonable and effective suggestions on the project financial work and improve the project financial work.
