Job description

The Projects & Engineering Executive will be responsible for overseeing the successful planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects at Dynatron Group.

This role will manage Project / Construction Managers and Engineers, work closely with finance, HR, procurement, business development, and corporate services teams to ensure project alignment with strategic objectives, budget, and timeline expectations, and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage Project / Construction Managers and Engineers to deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Prepare and present project progress reports to the Chief Executive and senior management, providing insights into project status, risks, and opportunities.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor KPIs for project, engineering, and construction teams to ensure high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with Finance Managers to develop and manage project cash flows and financial forecasts.
  • Partner with HR to manage resource planning, staffing, and skill development for project teams.
  • Work with Procurement Managers to ensure timely procurement of materials and services, maintaining quality and cost standards.
  • Coordinate with the Corporate Services Manager to ensure all project-related administrative and compliance needs are met.
  • Collaborate with the Bids and Business Development teams to identify, prepare, and secure new project opportunities.
  • Ensure adherence to contract requirements and manage contractual relationships, specifically with NEC, FIDIC, and GCC contracts.
  • Oversee the execution of mega projects, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to project teams, promoting a high-performance culture.
  • Monitor project performance metrics and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Facilitate effective communication with stakeholders, clients, and external partners.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Professional registration with ECSA is mandatory.
  • Registration with PMI as a Professional Project Management Professional will be advantageous.
  • Management qualification (e.g., MBA, or equivalent) will be advantageous.
  • Extensive experience in project management within the engineering & construction sectors, especially with mega projects.
  • Proven experience in contracts management, including NEC, FIDIC, and GCC.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop KPIs, report progress to the executive level, and lead multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Financial acumen, with experience in developing and managing project cashflows.
