Job Role – Project Consultant
As a Project Consultant at Fusion Software, you’ll manage and deliver end-to-end software implementations for our clients. You’ll combine project management expertise with hands-on technical configuration and client relationship skills to ensure every solution is delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
- Plan, manage, and oversee the full implementation lifecycle from initiation to closure.
- Define project scope, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Maintain detailed project plans, track milestones, and manage risks proactively.
- Conduct project meetings and status updates with both clients and internal teams.
- Manage change requests, ensuring clear communication of impact on timelines and deliverables.
- Ensure proper documentation and project handover to support and account management teams.
Client Onboarding and Configuration
- Lead client discovery and requirements-gathering sessions.
- Configure Fusion Software solutions to align with client workflows and strategic goals.
- Ensure data integrity and perform system validation before go-live.
- Support clients in defining KPIs and success metrics for system performance.
Training and Support
- Deliver structured training programs for end-users and administrators.
- Develop and maintain training materials, process documentation, and user manuals.
- Provide post-implementation support and ensure smooth adoption of the solution.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with development, QA, and support teams to resolve issues quickly.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to maintain transparency and accountability.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and feedback to the product team.
Skills and Qualifications
- Project management expertise : Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines using tools such as MS Project, Jira, or Trello.
- Technical acumen : Strong understanding of software configuration, data mapping, and system testing.
- Analytical thinking : Ability to translate client business needs into effective technical solutions.
- Stakeholder management : Skilled at facilitating meetings, managing expectations, and maintaining client trust.
- Excellent communication : Confident presenter and clear communicator, both written and verbal.
- Experience : 3–5 years in software implementation, business analysis, or project coordination.
- Qualifications : A diploma or degree in IT, Business Management, or related field; project management certification (CAPM, PMP, or Prince2) is advantageous.

Salary Range
R20,000.00 – R30,000.00 per month, depending on experience, system implementation and project management capability.
