A leading educational institution in South Africa seeks a full-time Programme Coordinator for the Online Campus to manage the Psychology Honours programme and ensure academic integrity. The ideal candidate holds an honours degree in Psychology, is committed to excellence, and has 1-3 years of teaching or supervision experience in Higher Education. This role involves flexible hours, including evenings for student support webinars.
SACAP (The South African College of Applied Psychology) is the leading independent provider of accredited Psychology, Counselling, Human Resource Management, Business Management and Social Work qualifications, with all courses grounded in psychology. We have campuses in Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg, Pretoria and Online.
SACAP is seeking a Programme Coordinator for our Online Campus.
The Programme Coordinator is a full-time position for the Online Campus. This role will be responsible for the programme coordination of the Psychology Honours programme. The Programme Coordinator should be fuelled by a sense of the critical role which Higher Education plays in South Africa and the importance of responsible scholarship within this context. SACAP’s Programme Coordinator should be committed to the highest standards of academic integrity as well as professional and ethical conduct in all activities. The Programme Coordinator should be familiar with all new developments within the discipline of Psychology and their application to SACAP’s Professional and Honours Programmes.
Programme coordination and management of the Professional (BPsych, BPsych Equivalent) and Honours programmes, including overseeing the research components of these programmes.
The Programme Coordinator (Faculty of Applied Psychology) will report directly to the Lead Programme Coordinator.
This is a full-time position operating from Mondays to Fridays*:
Monday – Thursday: 08:30 – 17:00
Friday: 08:30 – 16:00
*Note that you will be required to administer various student support webinars during the evenings, and/or attend Open Days from time to time, and therefore flexible hours do apply.
