Job summary

A private education institution in Limpopo seeks an academic professional to teach and support students through engagements and assessment preparations. The ideal candidate will hold an Honour's qualification in Education and be knowledgeable in South African higher education systems. Qualifications

  • Minimum Honour's (NQF Level 8) qualification in any Education discipline.
  • Master's Qualification (NQF Level 9) in Education or a similar field is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Teach allocated modules and prepare students for assessments.
  • Track module progress and support at-risk students.
  • Assist in analysing academic results and identifying at-risk modules.

Job Purpose

To teach / lecture allocated modules.

To engage and prepare students for assessments by tracking module pacers, identifying and supporting at risk students, managing general student administrative support, and developing assessments by engaging with the Central Academic Team.

Assisting the Programme Coordinator in tracking and analysing of academic results to evaluate the performance of the module and to identify "at risk modules".

Education

Bachelor Honours in Business Management or Entrepreneurship

Post Graduate Diploma in Higher Education would be advantageous.

Master's degree would be an added advantage.

Working Hours

Classes are scheduled between 08h00am until 17h00pm, Monday to Friday.
