Job summary

A healthcare provider in South Africa is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver comprehensive nursing care. The ideal candidate should possess at least a Degree/Diploma in General Nursing and ideally have a Postgraduate qualification. Responsibilities include ensuring patient safety, maintaining accurate records, and supporting staff development. This full-time role is located in Worcester, Western Cape. MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To deliver safe comprehensive and quality nursing care according to the Scope of Practice

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

Deliver quality nursing care in collaboration with a multi-professional team

Identify prevent and manage risks to ensure patient safety

Facilitate a positive patient experience by creating a conducive environment

Provide accurate and comprehensive records of all nursing interventions

Ensure that all utilised stock and equipment are accurately charged

REQUIRED EDUCATION

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION : Degree / Diploma in General Nursing

DESIRED EDUCATION : Postgraduate Certificate / Diploma in Operating Theatre Nursing Science

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE : None

DESIRED EXPERIENCE : 1 year post-graduate qualification experience in an operating theatre.
