Qualifications

• Diploma leading to registration as a General Nurse.
• 4-year Nursing Diploma or Bachelor of Nursing.
• Postgraduate Advanced Diploma in Midwifery.
• Postgraduate Diploma in Nursing (e.g. Critical Care, Emergency Care, Peri-operative Nursing).

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

The Professional Nurse, in collaboration with a multi-professional team, delivers safe, comprehensive, and quality nursing care according to their Scope of Practice regulations. They lead and coordinate nursing teams to enable optimal patient care.
