Qualifications
  • Matric Certificate with Basic R425 qualification (Diploma/Degree in Nursing) or equivalent allowing registration with SANC as a professional nurse.
  • Minimum 4 years recognised experience in Nursing after registration as Professional Nurse with SANC in General Nursing.
  • Post‑basic nursing qualification accredited with SANC (at least one year).
  • Leadership, ward management, planning, organising, coordinating and communication skills.
  • Ability to take charge and make appropriate independent decisions.
  • Empathy for patients, promoting advocacy and facilitating holistic treatment and care.
  • Knowledge of administrative policies, guidelines and all Nursing legislation and Health Act.
