Job summary

Mediclinic Stellenbosch is seeking a dedicated nurse to deliver high-quality care on-site, in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. The role focuses on patient safety, thorough documentation, and a learning environment for staff development.

You will contribute to positive patient experiences, manage nursing interventions, and ensure proper stock and equipment charging. Essential education includes General Nursing, with specialist qualifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with Degree or Diploma in General Nursing.
• Postgraduate qualification in a relevant specialty is desirable.
• Proficient in record keeping and use of MS Office for documentation.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To deliver safe, comprehensive and quality nursing care according to the Scope of Practice

REQUIRED EDUCATION

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION: Degree / Diploma in General Nursing

DESIRED EDUCATION: Midwifery; Postgraduate certificate/ diploma in relevant specialty area

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: None

DESIRED EXPERIENCE: : 1 year post-graduate qualification experience before placement in a specialised unit
