Job summary

Mediclinic is seeking a Professional Nurse who collaborates with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver safe, comprehensive nursing care within scope of practice. The role focuses on leading nursing teams to enable optimal patient care.

You will document nursing interventions accurately, manage risks to patient safety, and contribute to a learning environment that builds staff competence while ensuring stock and equipment are properly charted.

Qualifications

• Basic life support and advanced life support familiarity.
• Proficient in nursing documentation and record keeping.
• Understanding of infection prevention and control practices.
• Knowledge of nursing processes, pharmacology and safety regulations.
• Ability to assess patients and develop care plans.
• Awareness of relevant nursing legislation and compliance.

Postgraduate Diploma in Nursing (e.g. Critical Care, Emergency Care, Peri-oprative Nursing) if place in a specialist unit
