Qualifications

• Diploma leading to registration as a General Nurse or a 4-year Nursing Diploma/Bachelor of Nursing.
• Essential: Basic life support training (ACLS/ATLS/PALS as applicable).
• Knowledge of infection prevention, nursing processes and pharmacology.
• Ability to develop/modify a nursing care plan and uphold patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality nursing care in collaboration with a multi-professional team.
• Identify, prevent, and manage risks to ensure patient safety.
• Facilitate a positive client experience by creating a conducive environment.
• Provide accurate and comprehensive records of all nursing interventions.
• Create a learning environment that builds staff competence.
• Ensure that all utilized stock and equipment are accurately charted.
