Immploy is seeking a Professional Nurse for a full-time role in Franschhoek. The successful candidate will provide professional nursing care, assess patient needs, administer medications, and maintain thorough documentation in a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

On-call duties are required every second weekend, with emphasis on compassionate, patient-centered care. Applicants must be registered with SANC, hold relevant nursing qualifications, and have a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must be registered as a Professional Nurse with SANC.
• Relevant nursing qualifications and recent clinical experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Solid communication, interpersonal and teamworking skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide professional nursing care and support to patients.
• Assess patients and monitor health and care needs.
• Administer medication and perform nursing procedures within scope of practice.
• Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation.
• Communicate with patients, families and other healthcare professionals.
• Respond to emergencies and changing patient conditions.
• Provide on-call support every second weekend.
• Ensure compliance with nursing standards, policies and SANC requirements.

Job Requirements

Registered as a Professional Nurse with SANC.
Valid SANC registration and relevant nursing qualifications.
Previous nursing experience, preferably in a frail care, hospice, community care, or primary healthcare setting.
Must have a valid drivers licence.
Candidates must be able to communicate effectively in Afrikaans.
Good clinical, communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Compassionate, professional and patient-centred approach to care.
