Job summary

Mediclinic Southern Africa is seeking a Professional Nurse in Pietermaritzburg to lead nursing care within a multi-professional team. The role emphasizes safety, comprehensive care, and documentation excellence.

Qualifications

• Diploma leading to registration as a General Nurse or a nursing degree/diploma.
• Postgraduate Advanced Diploma in Midwifery is desirable.
• Postgraduate Diploma in Nursing (Critical Care, Emergency Care, Peri-operative) desirable for specialist units.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

The Professional Nurse, in collaboration with a multi-professional team, delivers safe, comprehensive, and quality nursing care according to their Scope of Practice regulations. They lead and coordinate nursing teams to enable optimal patient care.
