Job summary

Mediclinic Southern Africa is inviting a Professional Nurse to join a multi-disciplinary team for delivering safe, comprehensive nursing care on-site in a permanent role. The position involves leading nursing teams to ensure optimal patient care and to uphold the Scope of Practice regulations.

Responsibilities include delivering quality care, managing risks, documenting interventions, and fostering staff development. Preference given to applicants aligned with the Employment Equity Plan.

Qualifications

• Diploma leading to registration as a General Nurse or a 4-year Nursing Diploma/Bachelor of Nursing.
• Postgraduate Advanced Diploma in Midwifery.
• Postgraduate Diploma in Nursing (Critical Care, Emergency Care, Peri-operative Nursing) if placed in a specialist unit.

• Identify, prevent, and manage risks to ensure patient safety

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
