POSITION INFO

Job Description :

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, therapists, and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Provide guidance, supervision and training to junior staff.
• Review and approve support plans to ensure they are accurate, individualized, and reflective of resident centered care principles.
• Monitor the implementation of support plans.
• Handling and administration of medication according to guidelines set out in the policy.
• Timeously ordering of medication and requesting of 6 monthly chronic scripts.
• Monitoring and recording of side effects and adverse effects.
• Educating junior staff regarding the supervision of swallowing medication as well as potential side-effects.
• Administering medication according to manufacturer's guidelines.
