What you\'ll be doing

• Take ownership of a portfolio of clients (existing + new)
• Conduct monthly accounting maintenance, including VAT, Payroll, Credit Control
• Prepare Annual Financial Statements & manage audit prep
• Advise on and implement cloud-based accounting solutions (Xero + partner apps)
• Provide operational support and insights to business owners
• Handle Company Income Tax and Secretarial requirements
• Participate in our collaborative network - share knowledge, ideas, and support
• Over time: mentor junior team members and contribute to practice growth

What we\'re looking for

• SAIPA Qualified (registered Professional Accountant), and Registered Tax Practitioner
• Completed SAIPA Articles, no more than 5 years additional experience
• Proficient in Xero and comfortable exploring related tools
• A self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset
• Solid communicator who enjoys working with clients, not just for them
• Cape Town-based or willing to travel for occasional in-person collaboration

• B.Com and Articles with references (SAIPA member in practise will be to your advantage)
• Must be able to meet deadlines monthly
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
• Must have the knowledge to work independently and under pressure
• Only applicants in possession of a valid SA ID-document and who meets the stipulated criteria need apply
