Job summary

A leading recruitment firm in South Africa is seeking a Supervisor for the Rubber and Chrome Shop. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in an engineering environment, preferably within the rubber industry. Responsibilities include supervising staff to ensure quality production, planning manufacturing processes, and maintaining data accuracy. A Grade 12/N3 qualification with supervisory credentials is essential, while additional qualifications in Rubber Technology are a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years experience in a similar environment, preferably in the rubber industry.
• Planning experience would be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Rubber and Chrome Shop to ensure quality components are delivered.
• Plan and coordinate manufacturing of all raw material to meet set targets.
• Maintain accurate data sheets and assist with fault finding.

• Maintain accurate data sheets and assist with fault finding where necessary.
