Job Title: Production Supervisor
Location: Tweefontein, Mpumalanga
Position Summary: The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the production floor, ensuring that all manufacturing processes are carried out efficiently and effectively to meet production targets and quality standards.

The Production Supervisor will also be responsible for managing a team of production workers, providing leadership and guidance to ensure a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate all production activities, including scheduling, staffing, and training of production workers.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance with company standards and guidelines.
  • Implement and enforce safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Develop and maintain production schedules to meet production targets and delivery deadlines.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues that may arise during production, working to find solutions and prevent delays.
  • Communicate with other departments, such as logistics and quality control, to coordinate production activities and ensure smooth operations.
  • Mentor and coach production workers, providing feedback and guidance to help them improve their performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of production data, including production output, downtime, and quality metrics.
  • Collaborate with management to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within the mining industry.
  • Strong knowledge of mining operations and production processes.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Proven ability to achieve production targets and maintain quality standards.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, chemicals, and machinery.
