Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ technical experience in Quality Control Environment.
• Hands-on technical/troubleshooting experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform inline inspections of new builds according to work procedures.
• Inspect paint touch-up and report quality concerns.
• Make quality calls in line with customer acceptance levels.
• Compile a quality data pack for traceability of each build.

Skills

Ability to read and analyze drawings

Working knowledge of manufacturing environment

Knowledge of total quality management tools

Fault finding ability

Ability to multi-task

Driver’s license and ability to drive manual vehicle

Education

Grade 12

Certificate in Total Quality Management

SAIW Diploma in welding and fabrication inspector level 1

Advanced Diploma in Quality Management/Quality Engineering
