Placements24 is assisting a dynamic manufacturing company in Klerksdorp, North West, to recruit a Production Planner and Scheduler. This role oversees forecasting, scheduling production runs, and optimizing resource use to ensure on-time delivery.

The candidate will coordinate with sales, procurement and production teams, monitor progress, manage inventories, and drive efficiency through improved planning and KPI analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Minimum 3 years in production planning/scheduling in manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and planning software.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, inventory management and supply chain logistics.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and related software.
• Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
• Lean Manufacturing knowledge is advantageous.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Proven experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and planning software.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, inventory management, and supply chain logistics.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate with various departments.
